God, what a wreck these past few months have been! From family and personal problems, to stupid computer stuff, I haven't had time to write or do anything! I don't know how long it's been since I've been able to check stuff around here. I'm pretty sure all the Hijacked readers have long given up hope at ever reading more of my story. But I'm back now! Hopefully I can get back in the swing of online life pretty quick.

After a quick glance at my flist, I see I'll likely not be catching everything. *sigh* Hope I haven't missed anything important.

Well, this took WAAAAY longer than I had planned and it's also considerably shorter than I wanted. But, despite all that, it's finally here! Again, thanks so very much to stargatefangurl for beta'ing this for me. I don't know what I'd do without you. ^^

Well, thanks to the awesome stargatefangurl, Hijacked now has a plot and has also been beta'ed! I'm working on rewriting each of the chapters, adding more detail and fixing some errors. I'm extremely sorry for the horridly long wait. Now, with no further ado...here's the rewritten version of chapter 1.

Yay! It's working... Apparently, I forgot one little step...

Unfortunately, the wonderful Obi-Wan layout STILL won't work. Dammit! *sigh*

Just spent like the last...2 hours or so trying to get several different layouts to work. Finally, I got this one 'working', but the background image, Obi-Wan, doesn't show up for whatever reason. I really, really suck at code and my patience is like...nonexistent right now. *sigh*

Geez! What a busy weekend. I was gone all day Sunday, got home totally drained. All I wanted to do was crash and watch TV.

My fanfiction's hit a tiny snag...as in, I'm stuck, busy and out of inspiration for now. Argh! How do these people do it? Write these, massive, awesome fics and actually FINISH them within a reasonable time frame? I really have to wonder....

Gah! I'm soooooooo bored!!!!

I need to work on my fic, but my brain's kinda...dead... So, I'm amusing myself by browsing around trying to find soundtracks to download. *rolls eyes*

Women should learn self-defense.
Women should lock themselves in their houses after dark.
Women shouldn't have long hair and women shouldn't wear short skirts.
Women shouldn't leave drinks unattended. Fuck, they shouldn't dare to get drunk at all.

How about:

If a woman is drunk, don't rape her.
If a woman is walking alone at night, don't rape her.
If a women is drugged and unconscious, don't rape her.
If a woman is wearing a short skirt, don't rape her.
If a woman is jogging in a park at 5 a.m., don't rape her.
If a woman looks like your ex-girlfriend you're still hung up on, don't rape her.
If a woman is asleep in her bed, don't rape her.
If a woman is asleep in your bed, don't rape her.
If a woman is doing her laundry, don't rape her.
If a woman is in a coma, don't rape her.
If a woman changes her mind in the middle of or about a particular activity, don't rape her.
If a woman has repeatedly refused a certain activity, don't rape her.
If a woman is not yet a woman, but a child, don't rape her.
If your girlfriend or wife is not in the mood, don't rape her.
If your step-daughter is watching TV, don't rape her.
If you break into a house and find a woman there, don't rape her.
If your friend thinks it's okay to rape someone, tell him it's not, and that he's not your friend.
If your "friend" tells you he raped someone, report him to the police.

Don't just tell your women friends how to be safe and avoid rape.
Don't imply that she could have avoided it if she'd only done/not done x,y or z.
Don't imply that it's in any way her fault.
Don't let silence imply agreement when someone tells you he "got some" with the drunk girl.
Don't perpetuate a culture that tells you that you have no control over or responsibility for your actions. You can, too, help yourself.

Yay! I finished the first chapter of my very first fic! *happy dance* Fanfiction.net won't let me post any stories yet, so I thought, 'hey, why not put it on here?' So, here it is. If anybody reads it, I'd love to hear what'cha think. Just, no flames, okay? I'm still new at this.... Anyway, hope you like it. =D Oh! I almost forgot.... I know there's probably a fic out there somewhere that's similar to mine, if so.... It's purely coincidental. Honest! I have no desire to steal someone else's story. Really!
